Sound Therapy in Selbyville / Fenwick Island Area, Delaware

Sound Therapy uses sound and vibration to quiet mental noise, deepen body awareness, and create a sense of spaciousness.

Sound Therapy is an immersive, sensory experience that uses sound and vibration to invite deeper listening and awareness.

Rather than asking you to accomplish anything, a session gives you an opportunity to listen, notice, receive, and experience.

There is no massage, manipulation, or physical adjustment involved. Instead, the session is intentionally quiet and still, giving you an opportunity to rest, receive, and notice your own experience.

  • To begin the sound therapy:

you'll settle into a comfortable position while I guide you through a personalized sound experience. There is nothing you need to perform or figure out. You can simply listen and notice what you experience.

  • You may become aware of:

subtle sensations in your body, shifts in your attention, changes in your emotional experience, or simply a greater sense of spaciousness.

  • Some people find:

that focused listening helps quiet racing thoughts, ease tension, lift their mood, or create a welcome sense of mental and physical rest. Research into sound-based practices is still growing, and individual experiences vary.

Why Sound?

Sound gives the mind something to attend to while inviting us into a more sensory experience of the present moment.

The resonance and vibration of different instruments can create a rich environment for listening, noticing, and stepping away from the constant noise of everyday life.

Giving yourself this uninterrupted time to listen may support relaxation, reduce feelings of stress and anxiety, and create greater awareness of your body and your present experience.

The Blue Bird Approach

Your session is thoughtfully created rather than following a fixed sequence. I choose and combine instruments based on the experience I'm creating for you that day, while remaining attentive to your comfort and preferences.

The intention isn't to make you feel a particular way. It's to create the conditions for you to notice what is already there and experience a little more room to simply be.
